Darren and I decided to take off up the canyon before the homework load got too heavy.

The time we intended to go railfanning in February didn't work, so we decided to make up for it now.

Only a week after the last excursion, we decided to take off again once before needing to devote the scads of time always necessary around exam time. We got caught at Spence's Bridge and were faced with a whole pile of trains between us and Cisco. Suffice it to say that caused some problems.

Darren stopped by Friday afternoon, and we took off to watch a few trains. We didn't get any opportunities to shoot anything prior to our meetup with Scott at 168th street.

My mom complained that I wasn't shooting enough pics of the family for her to take along on her trip to Ontario.

We managed to convince Ryan to accompany us on an excursion and Scooter was available as well, so all four of us crammed into Darren's car for a trip up the canyon. We made it all the way to Ashcroft and although we didn't catch a train right there, there's a lot of beautiful scenery between Spence's Bridge and Ashcroft. I made an attempt this excursion to take a few more scenery pics.

The 2816 (A Canadian Pacific steam locomotive) was making a couple of runs between Port Coquitlam and Mission that day. Darren caught both runs, but I only was there to shoot the second.

I finished my Criminology assignment at roughly 5 am and then decided to take a few photos of the sunrise, as I was already up and about. Later that day I snagged a few other photos.

Darren showed up on Saturday and we took off to the tracks for a while.

Roger beat me to the mailbox, so, in an attempt to procrastinate, I walked around the block with my other brother.

Ryan and I wandered off around the neighborhood, shortly after arriving at my place, following yet another day at SFU.

"Railroad days" was on in Fort Langley, so we headed there for a while. Afterwards, having no success at Hydro we headed for the Albion ferry. After hunting without success on the other side of the river for a while, we sighted a few BNSF units and went to take a look.

Ryan was moving, so I dragged along the camera one evening where we reminisced and even got a little bit of packing done.
