A shot of a railfan in his natural habitat.
The first train of the day snakes around the corner.
A little bit more visible now.
After this CN coal train Darren headed on for home...
... but I noticed that the signals were lit at 232nd street when I drove by, so I stayed a few minutes to catch the SRY.
This is only the second occasion that I've caught the SRY on film IIRC.
A going-away shot of the two locos.
It was a few minutes walk back to where I had parked, so after shooting the power I started walking. All of a sudden I remembered that the SRY generally use cabooses.
The West Coast Express was visible on the other side of the Fraser.
Even with the zoom lens on (and set at max) it the Seattle Sounder locomotive can't be seen too well.
An eastbound potash train on the other side of the river.
There wasn't any activity whatsoever on this side of the Fraser until Darren headed for home... one more shot of that potash train.
The exposure meter on the camera has been acting kind of funny lately. According to it even with this exposure I had opened up the lens far too much.
Here you can actually see a few rays of light reflecting off the side of the locomotive.
